Meet Emmy, our virtual engagement officer
Stevens is among a group of pioneering institutions to implement a “virtual engagement officer” or VEO, powered by AI.
Our VEO, Emmy, whose name honors Martha and Edwin A. Stevens (M&E), the university’s founding couple, and references M.E., Stevens’ inaugural course of study, is a new AI-powered engagement “colleague.” Our goal is for Emmy to create a more personalized and stimulating alumni experience for you.
By welcoming Emmy to our team, we are expanding our ability to build meaningful connections across the Stevens alumni community and with Stevens. Emmy will help us better understand how you want to engage across a wide range of possibilities — networking, volunteering, mentoring or recruiting our students, speaking to a class, serving on an advisory board or making an impact through philanthropy.

We are committed to utilizing the tools of technology to enhance alumni engagement and connect with our community in more personal, meaningful ways. Emmy doesn’t replace our human connections.
